What is this lump in my breast?

I have a lump that has grown quickly (from a pea to a large grape size) in the last two weeks in one of my breasts. It is right next to my nipple and is tender, heavy feeling, red, and sometimes itchy. Does anyone know what this could be?

Sounds like a blocked duct or sweat gland, or something similar. (My mom used to get saline cysts in her breasts, but I don't think they grew so fast.) Try soaking the area in a bath or basin a few times in the next few days, and if it doesn't change, see your doctor.
