Pcos?

I’ve never been “diagnosed”, but I worry I have it. Ever since I started my period at age 12 they have been irregular. I had it at 12, went a whole year without it, started and then had them more just very irregular. I got pregnant spontaneously and after having my child my periods are weird. Some seem normal, others seems like I bleed for 7 days and spot before and after my period. This period I had normally and I have had blood tinged discharge pretty every day and I stopped my period 11 days ago. Sometimes I’ll even have little pieces of what looks like endometrial tissue come out when I’m not on my period! Sometimes I don’t spot in between periods, but that started after having my son. I used to have acne and after giving birth it’s went away. I’ve had an ultrasound done and my doctor says I’m completely normal everything looks good but I can’t find anyone that has these symptoms and it be normal!? Does it sound like pcos?

Hi. So, PCOS has symptoms that are kind of different than what you describe.  So, your irregular periods do fit symptoms but the 'usual ones' aren't really what you are experiencing.  Here's a list.      Missed periods, irregular periods, or very light periods,    Ovaries that are large or have many cysts,     Excess body hair, including the chest, stomach, and back (hirsutism),     Weight gain, especially around the belly (abdomen),     Acne or oily skin,     Male-pattern baldness or thinning hair,   Infertility,     Small pieces of excess skin on the neck or armpits (skin tags),     Dark or thick skin patches on the back of the neck, in the armpits, and under the breasts.  They can diagnose it pretty well via ultrasound (they can see the cysts) or blood test. https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/health/conditions-and-diseases/polycystic-ovary-syndrome-pcos

Have you ever had your thyroid levels checked? I had an issue and was hypothyroid.  It caused irregular periods and other things. Being irregular in the teen years is very common and normal.  I wouldn't think about that as indicative of anything.  But since you have had your baby, you are having issues.  After a baby, hormones can get out of whack. That can cause discharge issues, irregularity, even cramping and spotting.  Have you been to your ob/gyn?  I think you need some blood work to check your hormone levels and thyroid levels and it may reveal your next step.
