You should see a podiatrist.
The non-professional
debridement of toenails and lesions puts a patient at a high risk for the development of infections, ulcerations, loss of digit, loss
of foot, loss of limb or possible loss of life if non-professional podiatric care is rendered.
Treatment of nails and lesions/ foot care is medically necessary to be rendered by a podiatrist.

Hi - since you are in the Type 2 Diabetes forum, I'm assuming you have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.  In that case, you should take this seriously - infections involving the feet and toes can be dire for diabetics if not treated.  Go to the doctor and get antibiotics as soon as possible.
