No periods after prometrium
I am 33 years old female. I did not get periods for 2 months but I was getting some kind of bleeding every now and then. My gynac suggested me to take prometrium for 10 days after seeing a follicle. Its been 7 days now that i have stopped prometrium but still no periods. I have take HPT too in the past week and both the tests are negative.
I am confused if I am pregnant or not
Could some one suggest me here any solution.
Also, when should we take the HPT once we stop prometrium.

Is the HPT for thyroid issues?
The prometrium might take a while to work; it can take two weeks at least for a period to come after progesterone is stopped.
But what the HPT is for, I don't know, unless you have thyroid issues. (You don't mean HRT, do you?)
Anyway, get back with your doctor or call his nurse, and explain what is going on and get your timeline straight. Also, if you are wondering if you are pregnant, take a home pregnancy test. It should be accurate by now.

By all means, if you have been having unprotected sex and expected a period to come, go ahead and take a pregnancy test. Two weeks after you think you ovulated, most pregnancy tests are accurate.
But it can take a while for prometrium to work to bring on a period (especially the first time you use it), so that might be what is happening.
If you're trying to get pregnant, I hope that is the reason your period didn't come when expected after stopping the prometrium. :-)
