Slight discharge day 3 after encounter.

Late 40s married giy. Had a sexual.encounter with a lady 3 days ago. Unprotected oral both giving and receiving. And protected penetration. Today when going.to the restroom I noticed a slight thick yellowish discharge. I shrugged it off and went about my day. Later in the afternoon had more discharge.

When I squeeze my urethra a bit I notice it.coming out. No burning sensation or swelling.othwrwise. partner tells me she doesn't have anything. I need to get tested. What are the chances i caught something?

I agree, the discharge your seeing is for sure a symptom of an infection but since theres no burning it would appear as a simple UTI vers Gonoreha. Defenetely get tested.

My Gonorrhea and Chlamydia test came back negative. This was done on day 4 after exposure and I had held my urine in for about 5 hours. My doc as a precaution gave me a shot and sent me home with a week of Doxy. Not sure what else it could have been if it.wasnt a UTI or male related NGU.
Also, my partner got tested she is waiting on her results.
Day 4 is a bit early to test, but you had symptoms, so it's good you did.

Since you had the unprotected oral, it would really only be gonorrhea, chlamydia, or NGU. The meds you got will cure any of those.

There lies the problem and why I am a nervous wreck. I had sex with my wife 2 days after my encounter. So If I had either gonorrhea, chlamydia she will likely have it too. Im waiting on the partners results. If she is negative then all good and this is something else.
Ahh makes sense.

When did your partner test? Ask for paper results. Don't have sex for 7 days, and if your partner's results are positive, don't have sex with your wife until she gets treated.

I know it will likely cause a lot of issues if this is something, but we can address that if it happens.
My partner is waiting her test results. Should be either late today or tomorrow. If my partners results are negative I think i can move on from Gonohrrea and Chlamydia. It has to be something else. Mycoplasma probably. I was having slight yellowish discharge. Not a drip like from what I seen online. Just slightly yellow. That as subsided now to a clear discharge. So the shot and antibiotics are working.
Just got a message from my partner. Negative on both Gon & Chla. Not sure where to go from here. I have a doctor appointment later to discuss.
Mycoplasma isn't thought to transmit orally, and you wore a condom, so it's not likely to be that.

I'm glad the meds are working though - that's good news. :)
There is always the possibility to have a reaction to the normal bacterial flora of the partner, since you made a change. Drink more fluids and don't squeeze the urethra, as there is always a little mucus on the epithelial lining. If it is pathological there will be symptoms, that your wife will notice. But the risk you had is practically non existent as to get an infection there has to be what is called an infections dose.. for both chalm and gonno it is very hard to achieve that in the mouth as saliva is very hostile...
Just talked to my doctor and informed him about the negative test from both myself and my partner. Although he didnt have a answer as to what my issue was, he said that he can certainly rule out Gon& Chla. They swabbe dmy throat too since I had a sore throat that day i went in. Negative there too. Plus I left them a urine sample that day  and they checked for any abnomalities ,  Trich and Mycoplasma. No evidence of that. I really dodged a bullet here. Wake up call for sure. At this point Unles smy wife develops symptoms of something this should all be behind me. Thak you for the support.
Happy to hear everyone is negative. Take care :)
Just as a follow up my doctor also collected a Urine sample and analyzed for presence of WBC, RBC, Bacteria, Casts and other formed elements. None found. Which leaves the question as to what it was. Today I am getting hives / rashes on my arms and face. I'm hoping nothing wa smissed of what it could have been. Or I'm having a allergic reaction to the Doxy.
Call your doctor ASAP.

If you are safely able to take Benedryl, do that, but definitely call your doc NOW.

The most immediate concern is an allergic reaction to meds. Address that first.
No benedryl here at work but I did take a Allegra and it helps with the itching but still have the rasied patch. Going to see urologist next.
Is the uro the one that prescribed the doxy?

Good luck.
And are you seeing them today?
My GP is the one that prescribed the Doxy. Last night was the last dose I took. 100MG. I had been on them since last Friday so it was a course of 2 x day for 4 days. Stopped because he told me since my partner and I both tested negative and my UA bacterial count was none that i can stop. Not seeing my GP today but I did send a email to ask about this rash, and if it is a allergic reaction to the Doxy. It could be stress hives too.
Okay, as long as you've stopped the doxy - that's important.

If the rash gets worse, or spreads, please consider going to an urgent care at least. Med reactions are really serious. Pay attention to your symptoms. You may easily be able to self-treat this, but pay attention to it.

Pick up some Benedryl on the way home from work, and try that, too. That it got better with the Allegra does indicate an allergic reaction.
I'll take some Benadryl at home and report back later today or tomorrow morning as to my progress.
Took some Benadryl, 50mg. The itch got better but made me sleepy. Just now waking up and it's itching like crazy. Put some anti itch lotion on it and it barely works. Looks like it's more inflamed now. I'll be seeing.my doc tomorrow
Yes, Benedryl does make you sleepy.

Definitely see your doc today. Good luck. :)
Doc just now said that I don't have anything to worry about STD wise. I am getting a full panel test done today. The rash is drug induced from the antibiotics. And the slight discharge I was seeing could have been from the condom or the lube since no bacteria found. Puts my mind at ease some. My wife has no symptoms.
Doc yesterday prescribed Prednisone to get rid of the rashes. Took 50MG last night as my first dose and it helped alot. The raised patch of rashes has calmed down a bit. I'll update this as I get answers.
I'm glad things are improving.

SInce you were just on antibiotics, your STD tests yesterday won't be reliable. It doesn't matter so much though, since you had already tested negative for everything. I'm not sure why you are testing again.

I'm glad the prednisone is helping.
The only things I got tested for at the very beginning of all this was G&C. Those being the prime suspects because of the discharge.
You said above:

"Plus I left them a urine sample that day  and they checked for any abnomalities ,  Trich and Mycoplasma"

The only thing you'd be at risk for that you haven't tested for is syphilis, and that doesn't give you the symptoms you have.

If you didn't have white blood cells in your urine, you don't have NGU/urethritis, either.

Your partner also tested negative.

I think it's time to understand that whatever caused this, it's not an STI.

I understand your anxiety around this, and why, but it's not an STI.
Closing this out and chalk it up to lesson learned the hard way. My rash was drug induced from the antibiotics. The prednisone is taking care of it. I tested negative for everything thankfully.
Glad you're doing better, and take care. :)
Thank you AJ and everyone who helped me get through this. I would have lost my mind with anxiety if it werent for you guys.
The saga continues for me. I started bad sore throats and what I felt was like a lump when I swallowed. I had my GP check me out and he said that there wasnt any concern and told me to use flonase and prilosec because I have cobblestone throat from post nasal drip. I knew something wasnt right so I paid to have a Chlamydia blood test done and that came back positive.

Went back to doctor and he told me that Chlamydia blood tests arent very accurate and he thought it was a false positive. So he ordered another round of urine test and throat swab. A UA check again reveals no bacterial infection or bloods cells. Meanwhile I fessed up to my wife as I need to make sure she gets tested. waiting for results, meanwhile the doctor prescribed Azithromicin and Ill be taking that for whatever is in my throat.
Chlamydia blood tests are not at all accurate.

The chances of you getting oral chlamydia from giving oral to a woman is very, very low.

You've already tested negative for chlamydia genitally. Your partner also tested negative. I have no idea why you are still so focused on this.

I have no idea where you got the chlamydia antibody test in the US, assuming that's where you are, but you are overtesting, over-anxious, and now have confessed to your wife "so she can test" when she clearly doesn't need to test.

You've had so many tests and none of them have found anything.

Really, you need to see a therapist. What you are feeling is likely allergies, anxiety and guilt. I don't mean to sound so harsh, but you really are blowing your life up and you need help.
I understand where you are coming from. Yes the test was from LabCorp in the US. I potentially could have just thrown my marriage away by telling wife. I wish I would have been more careful but what I did was send her a copy of the results when I meant to send it to my partner. Cat is out of the bag now. I do need help, as well as help for my marriage,
Therapy, my friend. It's helped me a lot in my life.

You do not have an STI, but you do have a hell of a situation here, and a therapist can help you.

From the protected sex, nothing. From the oral sex it is possible tho not as common.

In this instance you did have a risk and your symptoms are suggestive of something. I would get tested.
