First of all, what part of La are you in, I am in La also and do know of a few of these Dr.s. Just a little advise, diet pills are very rarely a long time solution. The way my last doctor explained it to me was these diet pills raise your metabolism very high, so while you are on them, you just watch the weight fall off. Then when you stop taking these pills, your metabolism is even lower then it was before you started the pills so you normally gain your weight back and then some.
I have fought it for years. What finally worked for me, low carb diet, lots of water, and walking 4 days a week for 45 minutes.
