Hand Bruising

I'm not sure if it's arthritis or not.
I have had general achiness and pain in my left hand for about 2 weeks.  I attribute it to the onset of arthritis.  I am 45 years old, female, overweight (by about 50 lbs).  The problems is, I have bruising and discoloration on my knuckles but I haven't hit my hand anywhere.  It started with the baby finger and it was a very purplish bruise and only around the middle knuckle to the end of the finger.  It went away in 2-3 days.  Then the middle bottom (closest to the hand) of my middle finger has turned very purple/blue/yellow in 1 day.  I have not injured it.  The left hand aches quite a bit.  There is puffiness and swelling in the knuckle areas of the rest of the fingers, but it's only the knuckles closest to the hand, not the entire finger.

I have sle lupus also  Raynards/ and more related Auto Immune disorders and i get all of the discription you have wrote! I am in second stage of Hashimotos aswell has you discribe the discolouring of your hands do you feel the same with your feet? It maybe good if you ask your GP to test you for Raynards has Raynards is a circulation attack and can risky of heart problems, i bruise often as you to discribed on the fingers hands also now alover my legs.I do hope you get your answers.Much regards
