37 1/2 weeks

I'm 37 1/2 weeks along and miserible, here it is midnight and cant sleep even though I'm tired as all get out... Any suggestions for sleeping at this point??  Also I've been having BH bad for 3 weeks now, does that mean labor is soon to come?? BH have gotten more intense but fade or go away when I go to sleep.  How can I make the contractions stronger and last to get the show on the road???

Its just hot tea...go to the store and you'll see it in the tea section...Specific teas will say sleepy time on it... I read primrose oil was good for helping the cervix to get ready for labor and to start taking it at 37 weeks...I am only at a 1-2 cm also and not effaced yet either...I also thought that will having other kids the progress goes faster but my Dr said nope every preg is diff...Good Luck!

what is sleepy time tea???  i've hears EPO can help ripen ur cervix, but I've been using it and went to the hospital the other night cause contractions were bad enough to make me cry so I figured maybe just maybe something was beginning but no only 1 cm and no where near effaced...... i thought with having had previous pregnancies, labor would come sooner rather than later but no guess I was wrong there too.... LOL

I don't think you can make them stronger honey...Just relax and the baby will come when its good and ready...This is my 3rd child and I thought things were suppossed to progress quicker after you have already had some kids but thats not true...I have had BH for a while now two...I have been 1cm dialated for 5 or 6 weeks now and nothing going on...So just sit back relax and be patient...Try drinking sleepy time tea...
