Am I the first one to announce baby sex?

Hi I had amnio two days ago and just got the fish result back today.  Everything came back normal!  The full report will be available in two weeks, but fish can find the major problems such as down syndrome, trisomy 18, 13.....  I am so relieved now.  It's been living in hell since I had the scary news from my dr. - the risk of having down syndrome 1:30 ughhhh and scary amniocentesis... I don't even want to think about it...

After the exciting news, I asked her the baby's sex..... IT'S A BOY!!!!!  I always envisioned myself with a daughter, but I was wrong.  I am so relieved and happy.

I am so glad for you. My first was a boy. . .you'll have fun! Those tests are very hard ( the waiting of course) I'm glad everything is okay!!

Many congratulations.. a sweet little boy!  And that is fantastic news about him getting the all clear through the amnio.  That must be a relief for you.  Now you could go and start buying cute wee boy outfits.. bless!   Our 20wk scan is in 3 weeks time so we may find out the sex then.. the hospital said if it was very obvious then they would tell us.  So here's hoping little one loves the camera!  x

Congrats! I guess I'm the first one due in april (on april fools day) and I wont know my babies sex until nov,12th. I also thought I was having a girl, but now I have my lil boy I wouldnt have it any other way ;)   CONGRATS!!
