We're having a.....

GIRL!!!  That makes our second little girl.  It's funny because most of my family were SO, sure it was going to be a boy.  I am only 16w2d but we went to a local place that does 3d and 4d u/s and we paid $50 to find out, it was only a 2d u/s but you could see her goods very well.  We're very happy it's going to be nice because we already have all of the girl stuff.  Can't wait to find out what everyone else is having.

Natalia is such a beautiful name - I live in Italy (although I'm British) so it's not so unusual here (in fact, I like it so much, I might put it down as an idea if ours is another girl too! Thanks for the inspiration!!). I agree that girls' names are easier to choose than boys'....I'm not really focusing on the name thing TOO much at the moment until we find out. Sofia (4) came out with 'Spratz' and 'Landie' the other day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Where the hell she got those from Lord only knows!!! So, until she comes up with something a bit more 'considerable' then she's not in the game! We have the added difficulty of wanting to choose a name that is Italian but that translates and is very similar in Italian (like Sofia to Sophie is)...we'll see....!
Your name 'shortlist' is nice - Addison and Lyla are particularly lovely!
Anyway, I'll keep you posted!
BTW - are you feeling any movements yet? Just curious!

We have been thinking of a few names, it's easier for us to pick a girl name then it would have been for a boy name.  I like Addison, Lyla and Jordan.  DH does not like Addison is ify about Lyla and likes Jordan... So we will see.  Our 2yr old is Natalia Vallerie, she likes Lyla.  My mom says that because Natalia has a unique name that this one does as well...  I just don't like when we tell someone in our family a name that we like and they are rude about it, OMG I don't like that name at all!  My SIL has a big problem with doing that sometimes and it really pisses me off!  What kind of names is your DD coming up with.  Good luck hopefully you will find out soon, I will keep and eye out!

IHow fabulous that you're having another girl!!
'm only 3 days behind you (our second too) and I can't WAIT to find out!!! So funny you should write what you did as this is exactly my situation too - absolutely everyone, for some reason, is convinced I'm having a boy!! My first is a girl too...I'd love to have a boy so that we have one of each, but at the same time I'd love to have another little girl - Sofia has been such a gorgeous, fun and affectionate little thing to bring up! Oh, and of coursse, I would get to use all those cute little outfits again too!
I see my Gyn on wednesdayso may get to find out then...if not, then at my next official scan on 26 November...so watch this space!
Have you started thinking about names yet? Or are you leaving it up to your daughter to decide (a bit risky if she's coming out with some of the whacky names that my little girl has started suggesting!!!)?
Take care and congrats again!

Yeah, we have out 20 week u/s on the 20th, I just couldn't wait.  Our little girl wasn't shy at all, the pic. view was from the bottom.  Showed her butt and the back of her legs, DH was able to see without me or the tech telling him, last time we had to tell him it was a girl.  We knew we wanted to have another baby after our two year old so we kept all of her clothes, and her crib bedding from pottery barn, so we're set!  Thanks everyone.

CONGRATS!! I find out nov,12th. Theres no local place here that does a U/S for under $250 and my doc won't schedule the U/S until my 20th week :(.  I'm almost 18 weeks. I already have a little boy so if this baby is a boy we're all set as well.
