could someone tell my what a steriotactic bx is like?

How is the steriotactic bx performed?  I have heard descriptions from one person who has given me a picture in my mind that may not be correct.  Thank you

I've had two of them, and it wasn't bad at all.  If you would rather not see the tissue they are removing, let them know, because I looked over and saw it in a little "dish"--didn't really bother me, but not for the squeamish.  Both times, mine healed pretty quickly and left only a small "dent".  Good luck to you!

The put you on a table that has a hole in it fpr your breast to be placed. You must lie still when they tell you. They numb you with lidocaine, which stings like bee stings, and that and the laying still on table is the hardest part the rest is  a piece of cake.
