Sensations, tight muscles and uncontrollable movement

Hello, My question is. Im a 33 year old female who started having symptoms about 4 years ago. It first started my my face with twitching after I got Bells Palsy. Then it started in my right leg. Basically uncontrollable movement, with weird sensations. As the years have gone by my symptoms have gotten worse. Last time I was at neuro was when My foot on my right side started to twitch uncontrollably along with my toes. This has since spread to my left leg which is not as severe. Here are my current symptoms. Toes lose sensation, have wierd sensations spasms in toes, bottom of foot, ankle and legs. The uncomfortableness of it really makes it hard to sleep. I get very tight muscles in my legs as well losing flexibility. I have had a spinal mri and head mri about a ayear ago and nothing showed up.  I do also get spasms in my buttocks, back and face and neck as well. No one can even give me a clue as to whats goin on and its so frustrating because the symptoms keep worsening and I fear one day I will be disabled. IF you could offer any clue or any direction to go I would be most thankful.

It sounds like the MRIs do not show MS.

This may be a muscle or peripheral nerve thing and you could be evaluated by an EMG/NCS and blood work (like CK).

If you really want it, I am sure the neurologist would be willing to order a lumbar puncture (most people don't want it).
