hepatotis testing and results

good afternoon.. six days ago, i had a sexual encounter with someone i didnt know very well.. we did the following..

heavy petting.. kissing.. she gave me oral sex.. i put my finger in her vagina for quite some time..  and i did have my penis close to insertion.. i decided against it, but it was in the area..  this was all unprotected..

i was nervous by the entire situation, so yesterday... i had a whole bunch of tests done. the encounter happened late friday night.. so this was perhaps 4-5 days ago..

i got my results back.. and everything was fine.. but she said that i had a higher than normal level with the hepatitis a.. and she said this made it positive..

is it possible to get results for hep a in only 4-5 days?

what should i do?  she asked if i had a vaccination against it.. but i dont think i did.. she said this would give me a positive result..

any idea..

quite nervous here.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. You describe very low risk behavior so your risks of acquiring anything are very very low. It sounds like you have antibody to hepatitis A which you may have acquired in childhood and cleared so no you don't need to get vaccinated for hep A. If you don't have antibody to hep B, which it sounds like you don't then you should get vaccinated for hep B which takes 3 shots. Hepatitis C is not at all likely nor is HIV from those minimal risk activities. It sound like most of what you are feeling is guilt. Relax and bring  a condom with you next time! DTD
