is he the daddy?

hi.. i have a question for you all even though everyone has told me not to worry.. okay, so basically, i am 32 weeks pregnant come tuesday.. and at my last ultrasound at 30 weeks they told me the baby was already 4 pounds and i am 2 weeks ahead of what they thought originally.. now this is where it gets a tad confusing.. my ex mother in law basically outright told me this baby cant possibly be my current fiance's because i stopped having sex with my ex boyfriend the first week of june 2008. i took MANY home pregnancy tests, AND had a period june and july, and didnt even test a faint positive until the first week of august.. the doctor did a 6 week ultrasound and reassured me over and over there is NO way i am further along.. they said the later the pregnancy, the more innaccurate the results (weight, how far i am). my current due date is april 23, and im just basically asking is there ANY way at all this is my ex's baby?? my stupid ex mother in law is now freaking me and my fiance out about this, even though looking back at my FIRST ultrasound, the baby was like literally a tiny little grain of rice, and why else would i have tested negative, if i was further along?? im sorry if this is confusing, i am just freaking out.. and i only have 8 weeks, and am basically lying awake night after night worrying if i go into labor early, it might not be my fiances, but my doctor keeps saying otherwise.. one more thing is... my fiance had 3 girls from previous relationships and is convinced that he only makes girls.. well this baby is a BOY.. doubt that really matters, but i need some reassurance!

If you baby is due in April then you would have conceived this baby late in July or in August depending on your due date.

So If you know for sure you weren't with your ex at that time then you should be in the clear.    Also it is impossible that your fiance can only make girls.....that's just been the luck of the draw for him.  Men determine the gender of the baby's and ALL men have X and Y chromosomes.   What an ego!

hi im the same i went for a growth scan last week and i was told my baby is measuring 33 weeks which in gestation age he should only be measuring 31 weeks so he is 2 weeks ahead which means i should be further along if you know what i mean lol. so it doesnt matter how big the baby is measuring you were told your due date at the start of the pregnancy so you should go with that and if you said you didnt have sex with your ex then there is no chance the baby can be his i wouldnt worry to much you know who the babys dad is so why listen to anyone else
good luck

If you stopped having sex with your ex, there is no way this baby is his.  If the baby was his then you would be due right now.  Or at the latest, the end of next week.  The u/s that you had at the beginning of your pregnacy is the one that you should go by.  Even if you are two weeks ahead of what they though, this baby still can't be your ex's.  Your ex mother in law wasn't there and she needs to mind her own business.  If you can't believe the Dr.s then get a DNA test when your baby is born...Plus just because your fiance hasn't had girls before doesn't mean he can't have one now.  Again, the only person, or persons that could be the father of your baby is anyone that you had sex with in July, even if you are two weeks farther along.  And it would be the middle to the end of July.  You could have had sex with your ex at the END of June and he still couldn't be the father.  Good Luck!
