Cervical Disc Replacement

I had cervical disc replacement surgery on March 17th.  C5-6 and C6-7.  Though the surgery went well, I am experiencing so much pain.  Especially on the right side of my neck.  I'm getting painful muscle spasms, headaches, and pinching going down my right arm.  (I no longer get the tingling and numbness)  Has anyone else who had this surgery experienced this?  I thought I'd have no pain after they replaced the bad discs.

My wife had an accident 20 yrs ago and had c5 & c6 replacement 1 & 1/2 yrs ago (Mobi-C). She had 9-10 pains in arms, shoulders, scapulas, with some numbness before surgery. Now the numbness is gone but she has 2-3 pains everywhere. How much time elapsed between your injury and your surgery? - I suspect that the longer that period is, the longer the recovery.

I am sorry to hear of your prolonged discomfort.  You are still very early in the recovery period for cervical spine surgery.  Depending on how much nerve involvement was present and the length of time the nerves were compressed, recovery of the affected areas can take much longer.
After my surgery (cervical fusion C4-C7), I had horrible muscle spasms in my shoulders and some continued arm pain.  Most of it was due to the positioning of my body while on the OR table.  You need to be in a hyperextended position and it can be very brutal on the shoulders.
You need to contact the surgeon and report your continued symptoms and determine if a muscle relaxant might be helpful in this stage of your recovery.  I needed muscle relaxants for the first two weeks postop and they did help significantly.  If you have not been taking a muscle relaxant since your surgery, your muscles are probably just in overdrive reacting to similar positioning during surgery.
The fact that much of your neurological symptoms have resolved is a good indication that you will continue to recover over time.
Post again with an update and any additional questions/concerns you may have.
Best wishes ---
