Has anyone experienced this type of pain b4?

My left buttock, left groin area hurts, when i walk it hurts to walk on the left leg, feels like my groin, butt and hip is about to fall off. And sometimes i get a pain up my anus(sorry if tmi) and pressure as if the baby wants to come out that way.  Also when i lay in bed, it hurts to lay on my sides bcuz when i try to close my left leg on top of the other leg it hurts, or if i move to the left, the left leg, hip, buttock and anus hurts.  It even hurts to lift my left leg up to get into bed, i have to lift it up with my hands.

I called the OB office, she's thinking its Sciatic pain and that the baby is putting pressure on a nerve causing the pain to be in all of those places, and my anus has pressure possibly bcuz how the baby is positioned.  Its not like i can get an x-ray of my leg,hip and butt(which i would like one)  So now im here confused on what to do, i have been off work since monday, and ive been resting and even doing exercises and warm compresses to those areas and tylenol, which is a joke, only works for headaches for me.

My main concern is that it is very discomforting to walk on the left leg and if the pain doesnt stop i may be going on an early leave from my jobs.  She also thinks me doing the type of work i do is not making the situation better.  She said if i wanted to come in i could, or bump my appt date up, or see how things go and call back 2mrw.

My three girls are so worried Tylenol don't work and that's what my ob gave its a spasm and that don't help and I'm 17 weeks what to do? U have a awhile and can't do this.I tried to exercise but the longer I stand worse it gets I'm tired of crying

Yes i know the feeling. They aren't as bad now but now i have an aching thigh and i think that's because i've pinched a nerve in my lower back and apparently that effects your thigh. When i asked my midwife about the pain in my groin she said it'll be the baby on that side she told me to sleep on the other side and take lots of hot baths as that loosens your muscles etc.
Good luck hopefully they will go.

Yeah it sounds like Sciatic pain to me...I hope you feel better...my cousin suffered from that when she was pregnant...I am not sure what she did to alleviate the pain...Sorry you are having all of these aches and pains!

Feel better,

Ouch I get little cramps mostly when I first get up, but it goes away after a few steps. Have you tried swimming? I ran into a pregnant woman at the pool the other day and she said she swims for 20 minutes a day to get rid of siatic pain. I dont' know if it works, but you might want to try it. Maybe find a rec center by your house that you could try out.

i get that too, that same side too!! and its worse when i have been active. mine sometimes gets all the way up my back, above my love handle i guess its called. and when i sit or stand its so bad sometime that i want to cry. yet its only on the left side. i have had the same pain on my right but not nearly as severe. ive almost fallen down from it before. luckily though, mine is usually only painful when i am moving. once im down for the night, i dont have much pain anywhere until i get up again. its almost over though!!
