Does yoga "open you up"? :)

I know in general taking good care of your body is beneficial to both you and your unborn child, that is a given.  (ie: eating right, taking multi/prenatal vitamins, exercising, etc.)  In December of '08 we had a miscarriage and it took us about a year to grieve and get to a point where we wanted to try and conceive again.  Unfortunately, it has been without any luck thus far.  Upon speaking with other women, the suggestion of me doing yoga came up.  This woman seemed extremely knowledgeable on the subject, however she had no degree in the medical field.  She explained how yoga, "opens you up" so getting pregnant is supposed to be easier I guess?  At this point, I will try anything as it has been nearly 7 months with no "plus symbol" appearing on the stick.  I was just wondering if anyone has heard of such a thing, and if there is really any truth to the subject.  I'm not going to get my hopes up, but I do have to run as I have a yoga class to attend.  :)

Thank you so much for the comment, and it is true, I think I do need to just forgive myself and take a little "break" from TTC.  I know some people say that it happens when you least expect it or when you just stop trying which I have to admit is a little frustrating.  I have been trying any wives-tale, vitamin, food, exercise and although we've had a two "late periods" it hasn't been successful and is a little stressful I have to admit.  Good luck to you, I pray you get pregnant soon!  :)

Good luck on that  and Id keep  up with it if its  good  for you and  its not to strenous on you  then  stick with it.  perhaps only a few lessons  you need  and  who knows.  or  do a few lessons  and do them at home  and go from there. ive been told and read up on  that  taking  folic  acid  zinc  sellinium b6 b12  is to help prepare  your inside  body as well as when you are pregnant , ive been eating alot of  sweet potatoes  baked like  wedgies   and  they help with pregestrone level rise up.

keep track of  the  notations  going on through your cycle but  try not to get over worked that its not happening. sometimes its as easy as  forgiving your  stomach and  yourself
