Neuro letter to "Gp

Oct 29, 2009 - 0 comments

Got a copy today

Patient is stable MRI comfirms diagnosis.  As you know she is adjusting to her life as an MS patient.  She has not come back to work because of the chronic fatigue problem and this is appropriate.  She is quite demanding person on herself with tendency to work perfectionism and we discussed this at a great lenght etc.  She needs to be followed strictly on PRN basis.

so that's that i guess....check out my photos of MRI on my profile page.

Forgetter Be Forgotten?

Got this in an e-mail today, thought i would share

Forgetter Be Forgotten?
My forgetter's getting better,
But my rememberer is broke
To you that may seem funny
But, to me, that is no joke

For when I'm 'here' I'm wondering
If I really should be 'there'
And, when I try to think it through,
I haven't got a prayer!

Oft times I walk into a room,
Say 'what am I here for?'
I wrack my brain, but all in vain!
A zero, is my score.

At times I put some thing away
Where it is safe, but, Gee!
The person it is safest from
Is, yes, it's generally, me!

When shopping I may see someone,
Say 'Hi' and have a chat,
Then, when the person walks away
I think, 'who the hell was that?

Yes, my forgetter's getting better
While my rememberer is broke,
And it's driving me plumb crazy
And that isn't any joke.

GP today

Going to GP today...saw neuro on tuesday.  Need to tell gp that i need more time off.  Been off since apr.16/09.  Still as fatigued as then.  Just got accepted for long term disability through my work.  Been broke for months which is stressing me out, which in turn brings on more symptoms.  The more i read here on the forum the more i realize that some of the things i suffer with are ms related and i thought i was just going crazy.  I have mshugs regularly and incontinence(have to really try not to pee my pants when i am on myWAYto the bathroom).  Memory issues, i forget a lot of important stuff(payments,) i have to reread things constantly.
I hope he gives me more time cause i really can't see myself in a barn for 8-10 hours a day doing hard labour like i used to.

Wow ....this fun.  I found that there are a lot of canadians on MedHelp.  In the MS community I am the only one from the province of Quebec...Interesting.
