I had my lap on the 2nd of Sept. I was told I would be under for 25mins and have 2 incisions. However the day panned out with me arriving in day surgery at 6.30am and being told I had to have an enema. Yikes but it wasnt as bad as I thought it could have been!

I went into surgery at 9am and woke to find out I was in surgery for 3 hours. I also had 4 incisions on my belly. I was found to have stage 3 endometriosis which I wasnt aware I was suffering from. They managed to get 90% out which was great news. The  other good nesws is my tubes are not blocked! The pain was bad and i was given morphine and had to stay overnight. Naturally  i also puked my fav activity after anaesthetic!

Its now been 8 days after surgery and lying on my side to sleep and just walking is very uncomfortable. The gas they pump in has also made me terribly uncomfortable. I really wish i had stayed home for a week and recuperated.

HSG day

Jan 21, 2008 - 0 comments

Has my HSG today and my 15min procedure took 45mins. The procedure itself was uncomfortable and the humiliation of having my fanny in the air wasnt the best. The most uncomfortable was the spectulum going in. The dye injecting wasnt too bad. My right tube is fine. My left tube is completely blocked. They tried injecting more dye and getting me to rock to my left but it just wasnt going anywhere. The also gave me a buscopan shot to stop spasms(if any) to see if the dye would move but still nothing. So i guess i only have one tube capable of doing the job.

I know many women have had babies with one tube but I am not feeling hopeful as the side thats the good side was where my ectopic was last time.

I have my appt with the doc in a week to go through my results but not sure what options they will give me.

So i had  my appt today with a gynae/obstetrician and they have ordered a battery of tests. I had my blood drawn and have already had a call to say it was a BFN on the pregnancy front - which i knew anyway. So i still have all the progestone, hyperthyroidsm and all to go. So now i have to wait for the evil witch and then i get the HSG test done and a Xray on the 24th Jan. With any luck next month this time i should have another appointment telling me what the issues could be. Oh and A/F still not here!

Late A/F again

Jan 07, 2008 - 0 comments

For the second time in a row A/F is late. Its now 4 days late and the previous month was 7 days late. Negative HPT. Its making predicting ovulation a real pain. I have finally gotten my GP referral though and seeing someone specifically abouy my late periods tomorrow.
