I've been feeling a little discouraged by slow progress, but I've now hit 50% of my goal, and today I realized I've dropped from a size 14 to size 10 pants.  That was a good moment, as I haven't really been that size for about 4 years.  I'm hoping I can be down to an 8 in the next couple of months, I'm excited to be a "healthy weight"  which will take 9 more pounds, and to look at myself in the mirror and see slim, not chubby.  And in order to achieve these things, I'm off to work out now.  Laziness be damned!! :-)

Overall, this first couple of months of weight loss has gone pretty well, I set a "goal" that's pretty quick, however realistically speaking, I'm not upset if weight loss comes more slowly, just so long as it happens.  Unfortunately this past week or so has been pretty bad, daughter's first birthday and my 27th means like, 4 days of celebration with family, and tasty leftovers lying around.  So I'm going to chalk this up to my first weight loss hiccup, and just jump back on that wagon.  It's tough though, because my appetite has come back.  Previously, it had been very easy to stay near 1200 calories per day, not so now.  Ah well, at least I know I can do it now!
