*POSSIBLE TRIGGERS: I'm going to go with emotional stress, and the fact that I had to fast from midnight the previous night until almost 11:00 the next morning.  As little as I eat these days, when my body wants food it wants food, and it doesn't react well to low blood sugar.

** This one I know wasn't a true migraine.  It was one of those really bad in-between headaches.  It still makes me nauseous a little, I still get a little bit of light sensitivity, but I'm not knocked down like I am with a migraine... and the pain is just different.  My migraine pains are sharp and in one spot/area.  This pain is all over the top/front of my head (favoring the right side a bit, but still on the left as well) and is a throbbing  I try constantly to explain this to my neurologist but he just doesn't get it.  Maybe these are mini-migraines, if there is such a thing.

*POSSIBLE TRIGGERS - Pretty heavy emotional stress going on at home (little sister is pretty sick, we just don't know with what); had very little to eat up until almost 12:30PM; I do have my period, but my headaches and period rarely seem to relate to one another.

** Headache started right when I left for work, but I couldn't take anything for it because I was having bloodwork done in the afternoon.  I took 2 Aleve as soon as I was finished with the bloodwork, and also got a coffee and donut (in case it was caffeine withdrawl/low blood sugar).  Helped take the edge off for only a short amount of time.  By the time I left work at 6:00, it was near full-swing migraine status... just different somehow.  I was hesitant to take my Treximet because of that, and because I'd already taken 12hr Aleve and my stomach's been so temperamental.  I was forced to go with my family to a friends' for dinner, and as soon as I ate the headache disappeared.

*POSSIBLE TRIGGERS: I have no idea... wearing a ponytail maybe?

** I started getting "ponytail" pain around the time I was getting ready to leave from work.  By the time I got home, it hadn't gotten any better.  I was getting to that point where squeezing my head was the only thing giving relief.  So I tried an ice pack, which seemed to help the pain, but the light was starting to really get to me so I forced myself to go to bed.  I figured I'd try to sleep it off.  That turned out to be a dumb idea, because I woke up at 3:30 in so much pain that I was crying in my sleep.  I couldn't even lay my head on my pillow, any pressure was unbearable, but it hurt even more and sent my head spinning if I tried to sit up.  I took a Treximet and ended up passing out at some point.  I just wanted to scream it hurt so bad.  I give it a 9, at least on a scale of how bad it's ever been (I leave a point because I know it could always be worse).

*POSSIBLE TRIGGERS: I'm gonna go with the 13+ hours I slept that night.  I woke up somewhere after 7 hours, but was so tired and figured that I had no reason to get out of bed that morning so why should I...  I know better.

** I felt like a zombie all day, almost hungover.  The pain didn't start until early evening/late afternoon.  At first it was just in my eyes, then it was all around them, next to them, and in my forehead.  Later it was on the sides of my head, behind my ears.  I experienced light sensitivity most of the day.
