Costa Rica coffee is the Best! It's grown here. Never tasted fresher.
In am Sunrise 5:00. Rich dark Black coffee.
Ticos ( name for the nationals) take breakfast at 9am.
Big pot of Black Beans from the night before. I warm up what I want in fry pan, go outside, pick fresh cilantro & top with cheese if I have it. Big bowl of Beans for breakfast. Eat until you're not hungry anymore!  ( Funny when we're in the USA, we don't eat beans for breakfast !)
When worker comes he husks coconuts & puts in food processor. Then in a huge slow cooker, in goes Rice, condensed milk, & coconuts in rice size pieces. Cook slow all day. Sometimes add raisins or dry cranberries or cherries. Or add cinnamon. Sticks are nice. Now you've an alternative Breakfast, snack or after dinner treat! Maxy

Staying home

Dec 08, 2013 - 9 comments

MedHelp new friends helped me feel free to go from main home up to new hse/art studio.
I love it up here. It's a little hotter, but it's so open & I designed it. All the furniture is on wheels, custom designed & my guys made the furniture.
Mommy Baby stays up here. When Don brings up the meals, Mommy B comes by & inspects everything before I eat. Even sniffs the juice.
Princesa Sofiela stays up here w me too. She's a doll ( dog). I talk to them all day, & it's such a drag they can't come to USA.
I hope to extend. Make a quick trip to Panama to get a Visa extension.
One goal. Take a walk. I'm still in bed.
I've started a painting. In past years when my energy level so low, I'd paint in bed. I have a great chaise lounge but I'm trying to paint standing up.
Don leaving for China Friday AM.

It's partly a Bipolar trend to imagine you have the very best or for that matter the most horrendous of situations.
I think I have the most awesome of cats.
   She's like a small Dr.
A few nights ago, I was suffering a riotous nightmare. Thrashing, kicking, talking even crying in my sleep. I woke up drenched in sweat with my Cats paw on my hip, she was pressing all her weight against me.
Now, she's not a lap cat lovey dovey type.
When my husband sleeps with me,he wakes me up when I start yelling & screaming, or I wake myself up.
The cat sleeps on my side of the bed, by my feet when she's not hunting at night. Do you think she could have learned to wake me up from my husband Don E?
I'm still astounded by this experience.
When I'm in the lower big house, she usually sleeps in a chair by my bed. Like a little Guardian Angel. Maxy

Before the Medical/head Dr team released me to return here to one of my favorite homes,I had been on a steady taper of down .50...wait... Down .50
I'd been steady at 2.50 daily
WTF happened?  Mental challenges trigger physical pain. Here I am .awesome everything & I've steadily increased my dosage. Now my taper starts at 5.5 to 6 or the withdrawals are too debilitating.
I've tapered before, only difference now the complication with the Bipolar meds. Could lower the taper start dose & supplement with Valium.
For me better to get under 2.50  & then see if Valium is needed.
