New Inhalers

Saw the specialist today and she prescribed Oxeeze 12 ug (1puff x3/day)and Pulmicort 400 ug (4puffsx2/day). Hopefully this fixes me up. She said it will work better then taking 8 puffs/day of Symbicort 200. I go back in two months for review and pulmonary function tests.

The extra symbicort is working

Producing less mucous and less coughing. Been doing mostly 8 puffs/day of symbicort for the past 14 days and am way less symptomatic. Shortness of breath is much less along with the rest, it's making my days much easier to survive. More good days then bad days now. Thank goodness!

finally, the breathing is better

Aug 13, 2009 - 0 comments

Hooray after a couple days of rain, the pollution has finally cleared up, which made my lungs revolt for many hot days with frequent shortness of breath through out the day along with chest tightness and congestion. And being on 8 puffs/day of symbicort (for the most part anyway), has also reduced my coughing and mucous these past two days. It feels really good. There is still a little bit of irritability in the airways, but at least I can make it through the day now without feeling completely dead at the end of the day. Or at least without crashing and burning every third day or so. And I only missed one day of work in the past few weeks, don't ask me how I made it through!

Ugghh too much summer polution

I never have breathing problems in the summer, but the only thing I can attribute this all to is the hot weather and pollution buildup in the air.
