WALKING ON EGGSHELLS

Dr. Kofinas said that I need to be on bedrest until Tuesday when I see him again.

Unfortunately I have to be at work (office work).  It is not strenuous, but I am still WORRIED!!!  I just hope to god that this little bean sticks around.

DARK BROWN BLOOD

Aug 04, 2009 - 1 comments

At 12:30 p.m. I went to the bathroom and it looks like I got my period - except the blood was Dark dark brown.  At my last prenatal visit, the doctor said that it is ok if I get brown discharge and a few clumps.  That will be a good thing because it is the clot passing.  BUT - NEVER did he say that I will have a full blown blood bath of dark brown.  I am sooo nervous.  I am racing to the prenatal doctor in 15 minutes.  Dear god, don't let me get this far, just to take it all away.

LAST KOFINAS APPOINTMENT

Jul 16, 2009 - 1 comments

I just went to my last appointment with my fertility specialist.  When I told him the name of the OB GYN I chose, he almost bit my head off.  He is insistent about going to one of the guys he recommends.  So even after feeling the ease that I have my OBGYN, I now am back to square one.

This is such a mental roller coaster.  My OBGYN told me that I am fine . . the clot will not impact the pregnancy and I will be OK.

Today, my IVF doctor is telling me to be on bedrest because the clot can disrupt the pregnancy.  UGH!!!!!!

Emotional roller coaster is making me a little nutty.

First OBGYN Appointment

Jul 14, 2009 - 0 comments

5 a.m. appointment with Dr. Herzog.  I was very nervous (as usual).  First time I met him and he left a great impression.  Very "in your face" Brooklyn.  He assured me that the blood clot will NOT make me miscarry.  He said that the clot is almost gone.  I showed him pictures of the previous sono with fertility clinic.  He said baby has a strong heartbeat and will come out with a "six-pack"  Heartbeat was 161 bpm.  Said I am fine and just to relax.  I asked if I need to remain on bedrest.  He said I don't -- BUT I should relax and NOT stress or strain.  WHAT A RELIEF!!
