Baby

This list is everything I plan on getting before baby is born. It varies by person and what they want or think they need. But this is my list of everything. Hopefully it helps someone who needs an idea or sees something they missed. I'm a second time mom so I had most of this with my first but that was 5 years ago so I added a few things I didn't have with him.

Crib
Mattress
Changing table
Bedding set
2 extra sheets
2 waterproof sheets(to put one under the sheet in case of leak) or water proof mattress
8-10 receiving blankets(these are good for swaddling but I use them for burping because they're so large you never know when baby will spew)
5 blankets
2-3 swaddlers
Travel system(car seat stroller combo)
Diaper bag(a cute one for me and a daddy one)
Swing(life saver)
Pack N' Play(for travel to grandparents or other family)
Stroller and carseat toys
Jumper
Baby gates
Play mat
Outlet covers
Cabinet/Drawer locks
First aid kit
8+Bottles
8+Nipples(Slow flow, Medium flow, and fast flow..24 nipples+ total)
Bibs
Pacifiers
Pacifier clips
High chair
Teethers
Diapers(Nb-320, Size 1-320,Size 2-870, Size 3-870)
Wipes
Diaper rash cream
Diaper genie elite
Genie refills
Bath tub
Towels
Wash cloths
Wash/Shampoo
Lotion
Grooming kit
Themometer(a good ear one)
Baby laundry detergent
Bottle brush
Baby bullet(I'll be making my own baby food)
Steamer basket(to steam the food)
Baby spoons
Baby bowls
Baby carrier(my bf wants one so bad to carry baby on his chest)
Diaper stacker(to hang on my changing table)
10+ onesies (nb,0-3,3-6,6-9)
10+ outfits (same sizes)
10+ pjs(same)
3+ mittens (so baby doesn't scratch their face)
Socks
Beanies
Baby hangers
Car seat strap covers
Car seat canopy
Nursing cover
Nipple washing rack for dishwasher
Boppy pillow(for tummy time, nursing, proping baby up)
Tummy time play mat
Petroleum Jelly(I use this instead of baby powder. Babies can breath in the powder which is not good. the patrolium jelly will put a layer of protection to prevent rash)

That's my list. If I forgot something let me know but I think I covered it.

Those are good to have but yeah some people don't like them. I never used mine with my son so I figure I didn't need one now.

Socks, beanies, a bouncer, swing maybe? And they say rectal thermometers are the most accurate for babies (just an FYI)

I love my mobi wrap, that's another suggestion or some type of sling. Makes it easier for breast feeding and not having to lug a stroller or car seat around constantly

I forgot beanies, I don't like bouncers, and I personally can't put anything in my babies butt but I know they're better
