Take it back to 2012 age 22 size 7 pants 160 lbs fit, muscular, healthy. I lived downtown, walked everywhere, ran religiously, and was very conscious about what I put into my body. That was 2 years ago... I met the love of my life in the peak of my fitness. Unfortunately I got comfortable... way too comfortable. I moved out to the suburbs, quit walking places, began to shop budget consciously instead of health consciously. I continued to run for a bit but eventually that fazed out too. Move the clock forward and here we are; 219 lbs, size 16 pants. I went to a bar last week and when I gave her my ID the bartender swore it was fake... why? Because the person in the picture was too skinny to be me!!! How disgusting! I have gained enough weight that I don't even look like myself! I text the girls that I used to run with (they have also quit running) and they all agreed that something had to change! We met that day and started back at week 1 day 1 of Couch to 5k. Man oh man are we all out of shape! I do not remember it being this tough! Today we are going to be running week 2 day 2, I know it is still the beginning but every run we do I feel so accomplished! I'm so proud for finally taking a stand to get my health back! I cannot wait to have more energy and just feel better! So, here is to new images and healthier lifestyles! I hope you all have a good day!
