Ladies please help.

I may be getting ahead of myself but something I've never really thought about IF given the chance to have IVF was the medicines.  What medicine did you have to take and how much?  I'm looking through my insurance coverage and was trying to see if it'd cover any of the medicines.  Any and all medicines that you can think of.  Thank you!

There is special deals here that you can get here.  The price differs from pharmacy to pharmacy so shop around. Sometimes people donate to their clinics too. I gave them thousands of dollars of meds.  I can forward the info. The amount of meds depends on how you respond to them and can be changed on any given day.  It can vary greatly. What I took (amount) the first 9 times was less then this last time but I'm 40 1/2 now...not a young pup like you. I'll send you all the info when we get home.

It's okay. Thank you for looking Kellie.  :)  Yeah I'm reading where it's mostly shots but I've had the progesterone suppositories before when I was seeing the fertility Dr. years ago.  Yucky! lol  BUT whatever I have to have.  I've found several different injections they use but in order to get an idea if my insurance covers them or not I kinda need specifics. How much of each and so forth.  I know everyone is different but any info is good info. :)

Lol E, believe me, I'm not much behind you. :P Yeah my cousin and his wife had to go through IVF and she was sending me some info on certain programs I might qualify for and mentioned the donated meds.  I'm definitely going to look around when the time comes.  I was just actually a little excited when I typed the meds in on my insurance plan and it actually showed a price instead of not being covered.  I HOPE they're covered when the time comes.  It was asking specifics though.  How much, how often and so forth.  I had no idea what to put lol.  Just whenever you get time is fine.  I know you have a lot going on so don't rush.  Thinking of you.  Praying you get good results today!!

My dose varied as the days went on during ivf. It will all depend on how you respond but I was on: follistem, lupron, repronex, hcg, menapur. That's all I remember. I did find this link for you http://www.drugs.com/condition/follicle-stimulation.html
