Greydon had this two month physical exam today (and had to get two shots...poor little guy almost made me cry), and I know this is a known fact, but the boy is a chunker! He just keeps growing and getting noticeably bigger with each passing day. He's 24 and one-eighth inches long and 13 lbs 9 oz today, putting him in the 90th percentile for height and the 93rd percentile for weight. He is wearing 3-6 month clothing now and he only turned two months old two days ago!
Anyway, as I was waiting in the exam room with him, I put his little naked self (well, almost naked--he was diapered) on his tummy to see how high he could hold his head today. The little guy got up on his elbows and arched himself up to look around and had an excited smile on his face. Then he reached his left arm out in front of him, lifted up on his right leg, and rolled over like there's nothin' to it, like he's known how to do it all along! I put him back on his tummy two more times after that, he did it the next two times even faster! I was so excited for him, and so proud and impressed with him. :-)
So when the doctor came in, one of the first things I eagerly said was that he'd just rolled over for the first time from tummy to back. I put him back on his tummy so she could see him do it...
Yeah, didn't happen, lol. He laid there and put his head down and acted like he was downright sick of being put on his tummy and he had had enough, thankyouverymuch.
So the doctor didn't get to see his amazing feat, but I'm still so proud of him! :-)
