Weight gain 80lbs in 5 months
Moodiness/Irretability, Forgetfulness
Hair Loss/Thin Hair, Thin Nails
Abnormal Gas
Heavy Menstral Cycles, Bloating
Vertigo/Motion Sickness(Bad)
Can't Smell
Loss of feeling, numbness/tingling on right side
Joint/Muscle pain
Night sweats/Hot Flashes

Legs feel like they are on fire and have electrical current running through them, and muscles are being twisted.
I wake up at night after being asleep NO LONGER THAN 30 min at a time feeling like my leg is broken at the knee cap sticking straight up in the air, I am screaming and crying. I have to show myself my leg isn't broke, calm down and then get past the pain to try to go back to sleep for 30 min. I only wake up screaming once a night, the rest I'm just crying. Every morning it takes me about 2 hours to get out of bed before my legs will work (I feel and look like a baby giraffe trying to learn how to stand). And more recently my left arm went to sleep, atleast it isn't on fire.

As we have been increasing my dosage for a couple of months I have my highs and lows but some symptoms are improving greatly. Keep working with you docs and make sure you do your blood work.My neurologic problems are getting better so there is help.I have had 13 years of neurologic torture.

Hi Angel :)  I was sorry to read that you aren't feeling well.  My mother suffers from a lot of your symptoms and the doctors can't seem to find out what's causing them, i.e., dizziness, dumbness on her left side (leg and arm), etc.  She has been diagnosed w/h fibromyalgia and has a pain pump for that, but it doesn't take care of the pain.  I'd hate to think how she would feel if she didn't have it.  Mother will wake up and her left leg will be completely "dead" as she calls it.  She has to use her arms to lift it.  She says that it doesn't even feel like it's her leg.  There will be mornings when it takes her two hours just to be able to get out of bed and place weight on that leg.

Take care of yourself and know that I am thinking about you. - - Connie

I share most of yur symptoms, and also hypothyroid in addition to having Addison Disease , ME/CFS, FMS.

Hypothyroid tend to make us gain weigh easily until we find a proper dose to help us.  Hang in there. Kit

Sorry it took so long to get back to the comments -

Jellybean787: Your mothers "dead leg" feeling sounds a little different than mine however there are alot of different forms of Neuropathy. You may want to request an EMg. That will help to diagnose any muscle or nerve damage in her leg, and may help her doctor better diagnose her. I'm sorry to hear about her suffering as I'm well aware of the physical and mental aspect! I will keep you in my prayers!

Kitonthemoon: I don't know anything about Addison Disease, I will look it up or you can leave me a note about what it is. If you are having the weird sensations in your legs I would advise you ask for the same test, EMg. I'm not on meds right now for my Hypo, and my weight gain has stabilized. Now I'm fighting the battle to lose the weight. I've always been a relatively small person so I think that it will start coming off soon, and not be as hard as it is for some people.

Peggy: Thank you for your prayers and thoughts for Jellybeans mother, they all help!
