Dizzyness (Vertigo) HELP!

Apr 19, 2010 - 2 comments

dizzy spells

light headed

I suffer from severe dizzyness (vertigo) and lightheadedness, for periods lasting about one week; usually twice or three times per year. The dizzyness tends to be most active from March to August. During these times, when I get anxiety, dizzyness is triggered, and I have a dizzy spell. However, I also get dizzy at random, within the week-long period, without the anxiety, as well.

I also have pectus excavatum. It is not a severe case, and I do not think it is related; however, I know it is best to list everything that might be a suspect.

I've gotten these tests:
Heart Ultrasounds (checked out fine)
24 hr Holter Monitor (checked out fine)
Blood Work (protein was a little high, but nothing to worry about)

Please Help!

I am not a doctor.  I am just another person on the same journey as you.  I just wanted say to you that you are not alone.  I have ridiculous dizziness sometimes.  It is so bad, that sometimes I just want to sleep.  I am trying to see if there is anything physically wrong with me, but most of the signs are pointing to anxiety disorder.  I have been to the doctor at lease 5 different times this year with different symptoms, from chest pains, to dizziness.  I know how it feels to think that you might be going crazy.  I also know the isolation of the people around not understanding what you are going through.  My wife is awesome, but she just doesn't get it.  I think it is good to have people around you that you can look to and gain encouragement when you need it.  Hang in there fellow traveler.  There are more of us than you know.

I m also on the same condition but my feeling remain continuously when every i walk. I m also suffer from severe vertigo disorder but i just keep on pushing me. Many times i have give up but again I start from beginning. We have to focus more on balance exercise so that our mind redesign our gravity signals. Sometimes I also feel brain jerks.
