Well I still cant believe that I have made it this far, and especially with two little peanuts!! I am over the moon happy and am so excited to meet my little ones. I'm not sure if I mentioned to anyone on here yet but at my 12 week appt the doctor told me that I will have a scheduled c-section when the babies are 36 weeks gestation if I dont go into labor by then. My doc said that he has never delivered twins naturally because of all the complications that could arise and more than likely they wouldnt both the head down when I go into labor. I wont lie, I was pretty bummed when I found out I couldnt give birth to them naturally but if this is better for their safety than i'm okay with the c-section! Plus, it will be scheduled so we can have our out-of-town family come in for a few days to visit and see the little ones. So with my full term date moved up to 36 weeks this makes my Due date January 9th 2011. It's crazy to think that we are almost half way there!! I just want these little ones to stay in my belly for as long as they need as in there is the healthiest place for them. I am praying that everything goes smooth from here on out and we dont face anymore bumps in the road. I cant wait to be a mommy!!!
Well the good news is you found out about the c section now and not down the road. Now you can prepare for it and not be freaked out about it. When I was delivering Tyler they said I might have to have one after 12 hours of labor and I was so angry and upset. Luckily I was able to deliver vaginally. I think though if you go into it knowing that this is the best option for you you will definitely feel better about it. Wow I cant believe how quickly this is going for you. Your little ones will be a whole 2 months old when my little one is born. Thats crazy!!! I am so happy for you to have made it to the 2nd trimester. It must feel so great!! I will join you there in about 3 weeks hopefully. I am sure my life will feel much less stressed if I can make it that far. I have faith though that this is our little miracle and god will let me go full term. Jason told me yesterday that he thinks its a girl. hmmmm..... I wonder if his instincts are right???

That's exciting and scary at the same time. I'm so happy for you. And how much better that you know the exact date that you will have them :) This will give you plenty of time to set up getting help while you're recovering too! :)

Thanks ladies! I was a little nervous when I was first told but now I am getting excited. It will be nice to have everything planned out instead of just waiting to go into labor. I can have my maternity leave and guests all set up ahead of time.
Becky - I still pray that everything goes well for you and this pregnancy. But I honestly believe that you will make it all the way this time. And I can also imagine you having a girl!! How shocked he would be if it was a little boy!! I cant wait till March so I can see pics of your beautiful little baby. It's going to be perfect just likes his/her little family :)
Connie- I agree its a little scary too. I've never really had a major surgery before except for my d&c and I dont even think that counts. I'm pretty okay with the idea right now but I think the closer it gets to D-day I will be a nervous wreck. I hear from some people that they recover quickly and others that say recovery is soooo very painful and lasts a long while after birth. But i'm fine either way because we will have so much help the first few weeks that I will have plenty of time to recover and to start enjoying being a mother. How'd your testing go by the way?? I am hoping you get a BFP soon!!!!!!

I'm so happy everything is going well and bonus to a csection you won't poop on the dr ;). Heehee sorry I had to try and make you laugh!!
