I'm sorry you have to go through this. Suffering consecutive miscarriages is so hard, let alone when you are not even able to try again when you're ready. I've had six losses, so I know the pain too well.
Just to make sure, has your doctor examined you? This is likely caused by the molar pregnancy, but sometimes tissue is left behind and that is why hcg does not go down as it should. That being said, 4 is a very low number and it probably will go down on it's own - but if there is the slightest chance some tissue is still there, it can get infected and cause a serious infection. I don't really think that this what is going on, but since I've had an uterine infection turn into sepsis, I want you to get checked out so that you don't have to suffer that.
I'm here for you if you want to talk. Hang in there. Unfortunately, there are many women like us on this forum. The good thing about that is that there are also a lot of support, understanding and virtual hugs to be shared.
Hi there, over here in NZ anything under 5 is negative - not all women go down as low as 0 as they naturally have a minute amount of HCG at all times. Everytime I have had a miscarriage they monitor me back down to under 5 then that's it.
Hi, sorry to hear what you have ben through. After my miscarriage they said to me under 5 was considered negative, they monitored mine and i went down to 4 which they said was normal as some women do not go down to 0.
