I was sooooo proud!!!! I ate good yesterday but still had only 810 calories so after work I decided to get me and my daughter something from McDonalds. I got us both chicken nuggets, small fry, and a kiddie cone. Well she didn't want hers so instead of eating it like I normally would have I gave it to my dad to eat. My parents had taken me to work and picked me up since they were out anyway going to church so we ate at their house (they live next door). My dad did not finish his fries and asked if I wanted them...I was like "DAD!!! No I'm on a diet!!!" LOL I can't wait to weigh again..my weighing day will be April 18th...that's a long time but hopefully I will have lost a good bit....I haven't gotten to walk yet b/c of gas prices (!) but my mom said she will start walking with me 4 days/week (her doctor told her it was fine to walk even on dialysis) so we will take turns taking our cars to split gas. I plan on walking 3 miles a day. That's 12 laps...I can do 6 easily...I've never really tried to do more than that a day but I always just quit at 6 afraid it will hurt me if I do more...lol but I'll give it a try. 4 laps is a mile at our walking track.
In closing...I have been looking up more info on figuring how many calories I actually need. I gave a formula in one post and now I found these websites which gives you the total you use once you figure out your BMR (basal metabolic rate): http://www.bestdallaspersonaltrainer.com/energy-expenditure-calculator.html http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculators/tdee-calculator.html
Both are pretty accurate.
I did very good today also.....I am so proud of myself....I hope I can keep it going though b/c I had to get up with my daughter right now (on day 11) and it's gonna be an extremely long day....she is sick again...she's been sick for 4 weeks now off and on with no more than 2 healthy days in between...this last time she did not ever get 100% better but I sure was hoping she would. Anyway so today I had Subway but I had been saving for lunch/dinner (since dh works nights we eat our "dinner" around 1-2 everyday and my breakfast is usually around 9 or so. I had been craving something sweet terribly and I had plenty of calories left for the day so I had 2 cookies, 6 inch ham/cheese sub, and Baked Lays. Yum Yum! I was full ALL evening. But since I got up at 1 am (it's almost 3 am here and my daughter is STILL not able to sleep due to stuffy/runny nose and irritated ears/throat) already on day 11 I am gonna struggle...I've had to eat a snack already b/c I was STARVING!!! It's gonna take all I can to not fall asleep driving tomorrow and that's not good b/c I have ALOT to do! Gotta get up at 7, get ready, get daughter ready, go by bank, take daughter to doctor (appt at 10:20; dr is an hour away!), drop hubby off at home so he can get some more sleep b/c he's going with me to take Lilly-Kate to the dr), drop by sisters to help her load up yard sale stuff (we are having one Sat), run to another town 30 min away for an errand, then come home and cook dinner, eat, and clean it up! Finally I'll get hubby off to work, then I'll have to go to work at 5:30. I may call in tomorrow since Lilly-Kate is so sick and I know I'll be exhausted from being up most of the night as well as running around all day! Then Sat I have to get up at 4:30 for the yard sale b/c I HAVE to have this yard sale....all the stuff is in my sister's living room! Thank goodness Chris (my husband) is off work this weekend so he can keep LK during the yard sale and then hopefully let me take a good nap afterwards!
