My sister-in-law sent this.....

I am passing this on to you because it definitely works, and we could all use a little more calmness in our lives.

By following simple advice heard on the Dr. Phil show, you too can find inner peace . Dr Phil proclaimed, 'The way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started and have never finished'.

So, I looked around my house to see all the things I started and hadn't finished, and before leaving the house this morning, I finished off a bottle of White Zinfandel, a bottle of Bailey's Irish Cream, a package of Oreos, the remainder of my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, some Doritos, and a box of chocolates.

You have no idea how freaking good I feel right now.

I have so many things I started and haven't finished... Sounds like good advice except for maybe how literal one can get with interpeting it...

Only thing is, that means I have to go shopping to pick up some of the missing "parts" like the perlite to mix my african violet soil.  I went to Menards and found out they aren't selling it... I'm afraid to try Walmart in fear they have done the same... I need to wash a bunch of flower pots... I guess that would make me feel better...not while I'm doing it though...

HAHAHAHAHA.

But seriously,  throw away things you started but never intend to finish.  Give away things you bought or were given  but make you feel bad for some reason.    Sorry to take the punch line out of your post!   ;D

Really,  in my life,  it's great to get rid of items that make me feel bad.   Sometimes,  it's nice to gently give them away to people I care about,  and other times it's great to slam them really hard into the trash.  Depends on the item.  Out of sight,  out of mind,  I hate that thing,  out it goes.

I can't take credit for the above, it was in an email my sister -in-law sent me.  It struck me as funny.

RR----I'm not a pack rat but neither do I throw as much stuff away as I should.  It's on my list though.  Go through closets, go through drawers, ect., ect.
