Man oh man, this evening has been a bad one! The bladder pain and pressure is immense and the burning sensation makes it hard to sit still.. Many doctors have told me that this type of pain is one that is very hard to control with pain medication and boy are they right. So far i'm trying super hot heating pad, pyridium, and ibuprofen. it's starting to take the edge off some, thank God! My doc also asked me to keep a journal of the pain so that we can see if we can find some triggers. this might be a good place to do that since i've found it hard to remember to just simply write things down.... We'll see! Trying to stay positive!! Wish me luck ;)

Just a UTI alone drove me up a wall. Man I was miserable and cold even though I was running temps of 106 and 107. I was peeing every 3 to 5 minutes, it hurt. I felt like I was trying to **** out a watermellon. I could not afford a doctor. So I told my vet I thought my Mare had a UTI.
I see your problems are much worse than (hopefully) I will ever have to worry about.  I see you are getting some good advice here. Just remember people here are going thru problems of their own. Some are even worse off than you.  Actually you did'nt paint your picture right lol...I can relate to that  as I do the same.. But you have #1 Youth as a reason. Really all that you are going through, I suspose you would'nt think to involve all that w/regards to learning about HCV... So someone see's your post.. I think besides non compliance reinfection is a concern with drugs. Why cure them when there just gonna go right out n get it back thinking.  However I think you have been honest with all. Ya just did'nt include all the info/dirt.  lol..
It takes a while for it to sink in when being told you have a disease. I remember all too well.  I am Wishing you luck.  Ginger

Heat is my best friend!!!! lol. and yes i know what you mean about not painting my picture right! however the fact that im not nor have i ever been an iv drug user will save me from worrying about re-infecting myself! and time is def on my side. for those things i am grateful! I called my fam doc to set up a biopsy for sometime next week, just so i have a better idea of what im workin with ;) I sure hope they give me the twilight drugs you speak so fondly of, because my tolerance for pain had somewhat diminished lol

Yea I knew you did'nt have to worry about re-infect.. Hey I am a sissy when it comes to pain I go to C dentist and say look Im going to sleep and your writing a script for pain pills 10 of em. not that tylenol 3. And if it is not happening like that for him/her , then I find another dentist. Period ;)  Im telling ya this story , in hopes that you find out ahead of time about your biopsy and twilight sleep..   I put my own biopsy off, for fear of pain. I asked a few friends what one was like. One friend said "Its like getting stabbed, and I have been stabbed enough time's to know" So thats why I waited or least one of the reasons.
Good for you getting the bx. Wow that was fast....You sure are getting alot accomplished real fast good for you! Ginger
