day 21

Learned today that my VL on Day 14 was below 25 - that state where it is detectable but not measurable. It would have been nice if it had hit UND by the end of the second week, but it's the next best thing. Also learned that on Day 7 I was at 172, on Day 9 at 267, and on Day 11 at 43. This is the second time the VL has risen for a day by a modest amount before subsiding again. Needless to say I'm curious about whether this has any significance. Only time will tell.

No major side effects at this point - an occasional but intense need to nap, sometimes a feeling of general lassitude. Funny to think that I am now quarter of the way through the trial. I'm waiting with great interest for any announcements about the 7977/BMS 24 week trial at the Liver Congress in Barcelona April 18 to 22. Here's hoping everyone on it, 1a's and all, made it to SVR12.

Seems like the vl does go up a little at one point and then comes back down again.

I don't think it means much.  The last gasps of the virus trying to survive I would assume.  It's on it way now for sure.  under 25 is what I was then a few days later und. Your probably there now.  The results are so slow over there. I guess because they have so many people getting tested.?  I'll bet your next result is und.
