Improving health

In the beginning of this journey, personal bests were a daily occurrence.
They were that motivation, that kept me consistent.

Now it's getting harder to push further, faster, longer,I have had to become more conscious of what inspires me.
How do I keep stoking that fire in my belly?

In the last week I have come across some interesting mental barriers.
Habitual road blocks, I wasn't even aware I put up.
"I have always done push ups on my that's where I do them."
"I am not a runner or a cyclist, I will never enjoy running or ride well."

Then I came across a quote by Thomas Carlyle,
"Doubt, of whatever kind, can be ended by action alone."

Instead of 25 knee push ups, I WILL do 8 on my toes, if that's all I can get out, and then next time 9, and then 10.
I WILL get on the treadmill and spray my sweat all over that bloody bike.

because, "Doubt, of WHATEVER kind, can be ended by action alone."
