I'm reading Toxic Parents. It was recommended by all my doctors while I was in the hospital. My mother asked my what I was reading but couldn't get the words out. I just told her that I couldn't remember the name or the author. Was that totally horrible? I'm learning how to be assertive instead of passive-aggressive. It's hard at first but I think I'm giving it a real good shot.
