hopes down - then up

So it all started yesterday with tiny traces of blood in my cm only when I wiped - it continued in the morning and because I had a rough night (pain, super bloated, nausea, shivers and visiting bathroom 3-4 times, sleepping approx 2-3hrs) I decided I'll go to the clinic no matter what, better to be safe than sorry.
I went straight to the AR (as we belong there) and I was the 2nd in. Quick scan, doctor said he's seeing a nice gest sac and it's implanted at the best place (forgot to ask where exactly) I was more concerned if the sac is in the uterus and if my cysts are still there. No cysts thanks God. He couldn't explain the pain and twinges and he said not to worry about staining but if it gets stronger or I start having bad cramps I should go back to their ER department immediately. He congartulated me and said, Ok now you'll have to go back to your own doctor - where all my journey started at the clinic. So we went down to his office, he did a manual check up and pap smear. Then he sent me to bloodwork where they took 8 tubes of blood - the nurse was freaking out :D lol. Then I had to go for a u/s where they found the sac measuring 8mms and the beginning of the amnio sac - which wasn't too defined yet but they said it was very early to see anything just yet. By the time I got back to my doc's office I already got the results of some of my blood test. HCG 8486! :) and the rest was good too, but some results will take longer to get. So next week I'll have a check up on Wednesday (08.01.) with a u/s I pray we will see little pea in the pod :) Meanwhile I have to start taking utrogestan just to make sure nothing bad happens.

Phew thank god everything is okay!!! I can imagine how scary that must have been!! At least you have another U/S in less then a week for more reassurance and your numbers are amazing!!!

Thank god!! So happy for you, with my DD I had such terrible awful pain only in my left ovary, it was ridiculous. I thought for sure it was a tubal pregnancy, also had spotting, and she's just fine was born perfectly healthy and on time!! So glad all is going well, and hoping you enjoy your pregnancy!!

That is a very high BETA this early on. Strong pregnancy and a chance of twins, maybe? It's not unusual to have that spotting and cramping in early pregnancy. I felt alot of that bloating too, early on. So excited for you and happy to hear the good news from your u/s. You will probably see the baby on your next u/s. Small, but you'll see it. Congratulations to you, dear. Good beta and pregnancy symptoms are a good sign of a strong pregnancy and healthy baby. God Bless you.

@Wits It was quite a long day and we were nervous too. Unfortunately the scan room where I was sent is not the best, they have much better machinery in the other one- I was trying to hint to my doc but he said it's fine and it's right next to his office... :S I felt much better after I saw my beta numbers ;)

What time is your appointment on Wednesday? Do you know if they'll run your beta numbers again? And you know the spotting could just be from your Uterus stretching making room for your little pea pod!!

@KTowne I thought the same about tubal pregnancy - thank you for sharing this with me, gives me hope it will be all fine. It was my left ovary last night - my second thought was the cysts are bursting they found last cycle. Thanks God there were no cysts at all :) It's hard to "enjoy" being pregnant yet, even my doc asked me if I'm not happy.... we are! but we don't want fall flat on our face

congrats hun I had full on bleeding at 6 weeks and Im still pregnant :) doesent always turn out bad so happy you got great news :)

@Heather thank you for your support :) I try to cherrsh all the symptoms I have even if they scare me - I hope this is the way little pea is letting me know she's getting comfy in there :)

AWW I understand not wanting to get your hopes up more then I wish I did.. During Sol's pregnancy I didn't want to buy anything and even down to the last court date I had days I would just cry so scared of how it would all turn out.. See now I'm mumbling lol.. But this for you.. I know it is all great from here on out! You have so many wonderful days ahead of you!!

@Wits I have my u/s at 11.30am and before that I'll have another beta so by the time I'm done with u/s my doc should have my results as well. Praying all my results will be fine

@Retta seeing even a tiny amount blood is the worst nightmare of all pregnant women I guess - last time I had a missed ab it started very similar - except the sharp pain I experienced back then. I'm happy for your healthy pregnancy, you're almost at the finish line!!! and it gives me hope too :)
