Nice photo, meakea. 2 years SVR already. I remember when you were buring those Peg boxes when you finished tx. Best wishes for continuing good health and enjoyment of life. Pam
Hi Pam...yes, the fire with the Peg boxes is still a great memory for me and I do look at that pic now and then. :) The lovely young adults in the picture are from front to back: My son-in-law, stepdaughter, son, son's GF. We have 3 other adult children who were not with us for this trip. This vacation also marked my maiden airplane ride...kind of strange considering I'm 56 yo! I'm hoping to go back to the Grand Canyon next year and HIKE it!! Best wishes to you too in the health and life enjoyment departments.
I can't believe it's been 2 years already either! I seem to gauge everything by my HCV treatment time frame...like BTx or ATx...lol...as far as when things have happened and I sometimes have to stop and verify that it's been TWO YEARS since I finished!! Especially since the days, while ON treatment, seemed to move so very slowly. Time is in warp speed now...life is good. :)
And, yes, the Grand Canyone is beautiful/gorgeous. It was perfect weather the day we were there too.
Interesting observation about BTx and ATx - and another new set of acronyms. :-D
I do much the same in referring to it as a dividing point or mile marker in my life. In some ways, the actual tx is blurring a bit, the farther away I get from it - and perhaps that's a good thing. And I never thought I'd ever be able to forget a moment of it.......
