We have those here in Texas!  Except we serve ours on the half shell.  We call them armadillos.!!.

I never ate an Opossum before! I hear tell people do when they're reeeeeal hungary!! Ha Ha !!

Closest I ever came was making  a porcupine stew about 12 winters ago when times were real rough. It was good that night, but by morning it had acquired a very STRONG wild taste!!

I'd have to be hard pressed indeed to eat a Opossum!!! Especially this little guy!! He sorta has a little "Huey Lewis" hairdo going on, and even looks like he's wearing headphones!!!! lol!! :o)

Personally, I've never been that hungry!  And hope I never am.  The only armadillos I've seen playing possum are the ones by the side of the road.  The chickens tried to show them how it's done but they didn't pay attention in class.  Can you say "roadkill"?? lol

we have possums and armadilloas here. Can't stand those beady little eyes' of that possum. The armadillos, well they act just plain ole sneaking. 'Nuff said. Just my opinion
