Haha! East end of the island is desert. West end is a rainforest. We get the best of both worlds:)

These pics are all so beautiful Liz. I got to go to Costa Rica in February with my family and I think I could get used to living in a bit of paradise, anywhere in the world!

It's been a lot easier for me to get grounded here than it ever was living in the cities before. So much nature surrounding you no matter where you look, so much color and life.  it's great because you can step away from whatever horribleness you feel and reconnect with this/meditate, and you will feel better no matter what. I'm going to be fine here, as long as I stay away from the people who gather at the bars, lol ;)

I can see how this environment could help you reconnect with life, the earth, nature, beauty, energy. Avoiding the bars is always a good idea, no matter where you are. I figure, I already spent enough of my life there anyway! ;)
