Now June 1 2011 and I know now this was at the start of my hypo levels going spaz! Used an oil based hand cream and it has healed up nicely. My hypo levels however are still very bad. Can't have everything perfect, hey! LOL!

Yikes.  I hope this didn't flare up again since you posted it.  I do know how miserable distressed skin is.  Mine was different, and a different cause, but definitely miserable enough to empathize.  One of the worst places to get eczema and other skin illnesses has to be the hands.  Until I stopped gluten and dairy I would get huge watery blisters on the heels of my hands.  Funny thing is, all my physicians believe me about the need to be gluten free, especially the one who was treating it and saw the change for herself.  All but one otherwise good ER doctor in the local hospital.  Don't you just love it when doctors refuse to listen?

Amazingly enough it hasn't flared up again! I think it was to do with being so hypo at the time. I put a good quality hand cream on and Oscar the cat would lick it off.Realised it had Emu Oil in it!
