If you get the chance to see THE RIDE in your local theatre, don't miss Phil Keoghan's inspirational story of his bicycle ride across America to raise funds for NMSS.  He was in town tonight and heading to Baltimore, DC, Orlando and the Miami to round out his recent 10 day tour.  all ticket proceeds go to NMSS, too.

He was incredibly down to earth, and took lots of time to talk with everyone.  I have lots of pics from tonight, but this one is a favorite.

I thought he looked familiar.  I had no idea Mr. Keoghan had such an active and inspiring life outside of giving race directions.  Sounds like fun!  I'm so glad you got to go.

That's awesome that he's out there raising awareness. Does he have a connection in some way to MS?

Hesaid he wasn't that familiar with MS until he started looking for a charity to use for his ride.  When he found MS, he started discovering how many people he knows  in one way or another is connected to MS.  I can't say enough nice things about him.  You can do an online rental or buy the video through Amazon.  It truly is a great documentary, even if you take MS out of it.
