There's not much you can do about the eyes when a pic is taken with a flash.  Best bet if you want an indoor pic, is to take it during the day with your blinds open for some natural light.

We are hoping for pics that come close to yours of Jade.  Agree best are taken in natural light. Always forget to tell her to turn off flash..then of course we might not have much of a picture!

I re-posted one of Smudge because his eyes shone all yellow with the flash and made him look spooky!!

I discovered that you get a lot less of the shine from the flash if you can get a picture when the cat is looking off to the side and not directly into the camera.
