Thank you Ginger for taking time to comment and seeing the personality in his eyes. Was hard to look at these pictures, but wanted you to see. He was truly a special boy, a real people dog. I just ache for the feel of his soft fur.

Thank you aheart. His fur was incredibly soft and he LOVED being stroked. When I stopped petting him,  he wouldn't lift his head, he'd just thump his tail just once, put his paw on my hand and look at me with those eyes.  He was just pure love.

What a beautiful dog Buddy was.  Such a precious, sweet face.  I've never had a dog of my own, only cats, but between you and Ginger, I am beginning to want one.  I can see why he was so special to you, Em.  I understand your heartache and I am so very sorry for your loss, honey.

Thank you so much. Ah, it felt like getting a hug when I saw your comment on my precious Buddy. Brings tears of gratitude to my eyes when you and others share a moment with me in my love for my dog and my grief that he is gone. Dogs are amazing. Even though it hurts horribly when they die, it is worth everything to share their short sweet lives. I highly recommend them!

Jade! How ever did you remember? Thank you so much for thinking of Buddy....Watching soccer right now and Buddy is in his little white can covered in black and gray paw prints that sits just below the TV...an old favorite spot of his. I miss him so much...his gentle reassuring presence. He added so much joy to this house. Thank you, Jade.
