Thanks, Opus....yes, it's so hard being away from them, isn't it?  Doesn't matter if they're little or almost grown.  How did your granddaughter enjoy her trip?  I thought about her many times while she was gone.  Hope all went well!

haven't had a chance to talk to her, she returned on the 11th got on another plane to her mom's than the next day they both flew off to Mexico...tough life. they return later tonight, but tomorrow she'll fly back to her dads...so don't know when I'll get a phone call??? yes its very hard being separated from them at any age. enjoy your baby, you must be counting the minutes :))

Wow, she's on a pretty tight schedule, isn't she!  I'm sure she'll call when she gets back and settled in.  Will you be seeing her over Christmas?  Cassidy is so busy I hardly ever hear from her at all. She is thinking of transferring closer to home.  I'm all for that. When they are at school far from home, you worry when they get sick (went through that a few weeks ago) and you worry when they're driving to and from school.  Yes, I am counting the minutes till I see Brooklyn!

same here, I rarely hear from her now thats she's at her dad's and so busy with last few months of school, she has enough classes to be done in Jan. I worry too Linda, driving and all...I hope Cassidy is ok now, was it the flu? I do hope she does get into something closer to home....so you can see her more often.
Not sure abt anyones Christmas plans, she is coming to her mom's but than they may just go off somewhere.....I'm not  getting used to spending the holidays alone :(

How adorable is Brooklyn!!!  I didn't think it possible she could get any cuter, but she did! :)  I just love your profile pic of her, too.  Beautiful family, Linda, you have much to be proud of!

Opus, her eyes are dark brown like her mommy's....her daddy has blue eyes.  

Thank you, Jade...I know it's going to be a wonderful Thanksgiving with all of them here!  Jeff, Gegey and Beautiful Brooklyn will arrive tomorrow...can't wait!
