I'm sure he's head down and like you say, his body is curled around on your left side.  Won't be long now, Kahli and you will finally hold that handsome man in your arms.  You've waited so long for that day.  Have been praying that you will have a rather short labor and quick delivery.  I'm SO excited about this birth.  I know you are too.  Have you had any Braxton Hicks contractions?  Bet you are excited for your last u/s.  Can't wait to see how big the baby is estimated to be.  In my opinion, most u/s "guesses" are not accurate, but kind of like a guide.  I think the baby is going to weigh close to 8 pounds by the time he is born.  Smaller if you go in labor before 38 weeks.  Guess we'll see.  Lots of Hugs, precious momma.

Heather you are totally right! He is head down and his bum and back are curled around on the left.  It's so cute when he sticks his little bum up - I give it a little pat. I was actually in hospital over night with high blood pressure (it's come down now) and they put me on the CTG machine. I didn't realise I had been having braxton hicks but when they pointed them out to me on the machine I could feel some tightening at the same time.  I guess I just never noticed it before.  I also had a scan and bubs is estimated to be 8 pounds, 3 oz - Gulp.  I hope he doesn't get too much bigger - my poor vajayjay!

I was so worried about Saffi's size but she was pretty normal when the time came (8 pounds exactly).  She lay in the same way .. with her feet up around my right ribs that got stretched against and kicked very often .. and my bladder got punched, quite often simultaneously.  Enjoy these last weeks/days of pregnancy .. it is a special, exciting time and once he's here, then the real craziness and fun starts.  I look back on my pregnancy with such fondness (forgetting all the times I moaned about the discomfort) as this amazing time when you have this lovely feeling of anticipation and you alone can feel how incredible this new life is.  Also a great time to read books as there is no time for that post birth .. not baby books though as that is all you'll be reading in the months to come.  I have read one novel since Saffi was born and I was normally a book a week type of girl!!
