Healthy sleep is about developing healthy habits. Train yourself to have a calm beginning to a good night’s sleep. Pick activities that relax you and stick to a routine. Use your regular nighttime activities, like brushing teeth, to ease your way into bed. Winding down with a book, reading to your children or quiet meditation are simple ways to prepare for bed. Sleep is a skill, and a regular practice schedule will help you improve.
