Negative test results/Pregnancy symptoms

I am 35+ and for 7 years I had an IUD.  I have been unprotected for 2+ months now and I think I'm pregnant.  I am a week late and I took a pregnancy test on yesterday, negative results.  I'm really eager to know.  I hate to think I'm 11 pounds heavier in less than month.  I've always been small.  What should I do?

If I understand correctly you had your IUD removed 2 months ago and your periods are late? It could simply that your body is readjusting to living without the IUD, it's very common that periods fluctuate after stopping an hormonal contraception and gain change is also not uncommon.

Nevertheless you should have a blood test to confirm that you are or are not pregnant! and start using condoms if pregnancy is not something you want...

See a doctor!  An 11Ib weight gain in a month warrants medical investigation.

With an IUD in place it is highly unlikely that you are pregnant.  You definitely need to see a doctor though.
